Our History
Our investors established Shanti Hospitality Group in 2004 with the beginning of Shanti Ananda. Since then, we've worked tirelessly to develop our portfolio and build a dedicated, passionate team making sure we deliver on 3 of our key pillars in everything we do. Building exceptional assets and brands has been our aim for over 15 years and we continue to deliver exceptional moments for our guests.
2001: Ananda in the Himalayas opened
2004: Shanti Hospitality Group established
2004: Shanti Ananda Maurice opened
2006: Hyatt Centric Bangalore added to portfolio
2008: Shanti Maurice rebranded
2008: Amritara and Hyatt Regency Amritsar join Shanti
2009: Hyatt Hyderabad joins Shanti
2010: Hyatt Pune joins Shanti
2011: Nira Caledonia and Nira Alpina acquired, followed by Four Points by Sheraton Vadodara
2012: Four Points by Sheraton, New Delhi acquired
2012: Villa Azur and Hyatt Ahmedabad opened
2015: The Red Roof Inn and The Capitol Hotel in the USA were acquired
2016: Margot opened in London's Covent Garden
2019: Oniro Mykonos and Hyatt Regency Dharamshala opened
2023: Ocean's Creek opened
